Refund & Cancellation Policy

At Melia Desserts, every product is handcrafted and baked to order to ensure the highest level of freshness and quality. Due to the perishable nature of our desserts, we maintain the following refund and cancellation policy.

1. Damaged or Incorrect Orders

If your order arrives:

  • Damaged
  • Incorrect
  • Not as described

You must notify us within 1 hour of delivery.

Please provide:

  • Clear photos of the product
  • Your order details

After review, we will offer one of the following resolutions at our discretion:

  • Replacement of the product
  • Store credit
  • Full refund

Claims submitted after 1 hour of receipt may not be eligible due to product handling and storage conditions beyond our control.

2. Cancellations

Because all desserts are prepared specifically for your order:

  • Cancellations must be made at least 12 hours before the scheduled delivery time.
  • Orders cancelled after this window may not be eligible for a refund.

Once preparation has started, the order cannot be cancelled.

3. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be issued in cases of:

  • Incorrect delivery details provided by the customer
  • Recipient unavailability at time of delivery
  • Change of mind after the product has been delivered
  • Improper storage after receipt

4. Quality Concerns

If you are dissatisfied with your order for any reason, please contact us promptly. We value your feedback and will assess concerns fairly and professionally.

5. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method within a reasonable processing period, depending on your payment provider.
